When they heard me, they blessed me, and when they saw me, they spoke well of me.


I directed their course and presided as chief. I lived as a king among his troops, like one who comforts those who mourn.


Indeed, you have instructed many and have strengthened  weak hands.


But now that this has happened to you, you have become exhausted. It strikes  you, and you are dismayed.


There is one who speaks rashly, like a piercing sword; but the tongue of the wise brings healing.


A word spoken at the right time is like gold apples in silver settings.


The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are instructed to know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens me each morning; he awakens my ear to listen like those being instructed.


his face turned pale,  and his thoughts so terrified him that he soiled himself  and his knees knocked together.


As a result, you should instead forgive  and comfort him. Otherwise, he may be overwhelmed by excessive grief.


But God, who comforts the downcast,  comforted us by the arrival of Titus,


And we exhort you, brothers and sisters:  warn those who are idle,  comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient  with everyone.


Therefore, strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,
