When she proudly  spreads her wings, she laughs at the horse and its rider.


Do you make him leap like a locust? His proud snorting fills one with terror.


When the ram’s horn blasts, he snorts defiantly. He smells the battle from a distance; he hears the officers’ shouts and the battle cry.


Strength resides in his neck, and dismay dances before him.


Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord. They said: I will sing to the  Lord, for he is highly exalted; he has thrown the horse and its rider into the sea.


and to James  the son of Zebedee,  and to his brother John,  he gave the name ‘Boanerges’ (that is, ‘Sons of Thunder’  );


The horses’ hooves then hammered – the galloping, galloping of his   stallions.
