The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, but are her feathers and plumage like the stork’s?  ,


She forgets that a foot may crush them or that some wild animal may trample them.


Anyone wandering from his home is like a bird wandering from its nest.


A person can use it for fuel. He takes some of it and warms himself; also he kindles a fire and bakes bread; he even makes it into a god and worships it; he makes an idol from it and bows down to it.


Even jackals offer their breasts to nurse their young, but my dear people have become cruel like ostriches  in the wilderness.
