Job 38:12
14 Tagairtí Cros

God called the light ‘day’, and the darkness he called ‘night’. There was an evening, and there was a morning: one day.

Were you the first human ever born, or were you brought forth before the hills?

In the dark they break  into houses; by day they lock themselves in, never experiencing the light.

when I declared, ‘You may come this far, but no further; your proud waves stop here’?

so it may seize the edges of the earth and shake the wicked out of it?

Don’t you know? You were already born; you have lived so long!

Where were you when I established  the earth? Tell me, if you have  understanding.

since we were born only yesterday and know nothing. Our days on earth are but a shadow.

The one who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness  into dawn and darkens day into night, who summons the water of the sea and pours it out over the surface of the earth   – the Lord is his name.

Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the dawn from on high  will visit us

We also have the prophetic word strongly confirmed, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place,  until the day dawns  and the morning star  rises in your hearts.
