May the day I was born perish, and the night that said, ‘A boy is conceived.’


May darkness and gloom  reclaim it, and a cloud settle over it. May what darkens the day terrify it.


a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and total darkness, like the dawn spreading over the mountains; a great and strong people   appears, such as never existed in ages past and never will again in all the generations to come.


Woe to you who long for the day of the  Lord! What will the day of the  Lord be for you? It will be darkness and not light.


From noon until three in the afternoon,  darkness came over the whole land.  ,


For many days neither sun nor stars appeared, and the severe storm kept raging. Finally all hope was fading that we would be saved.


It is a land the Lord your God cares for. He is always watching over it  from the beginning to the end of the year.


The fifth  poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast,  and its kingdom was plunged into darkness.  People  gnawed their tongues because of their pain
