There I was #– #the heat consumed me by day and the frost by night, and sleep fled from my eyes.


For you took collateral  from your brothers without cause, stripping off their clothes and leaving them naked.


Without clothing, they wander about naked. They carry sheaves but go hungry.


They gather their fodder in the field and glean the vineyards of the wicked.


Drenched by mountain rains, they huddle against   the rocks, without shelter.


She is not afraid for her household when it snows, for all in her household are doubly clothed.


Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your house, to clothe the naked when you see him, and not to ignore your own flesh and blood?  ,


So the church  throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.
