Would you show partiality  to him or argue the case in his defence?


because I greatly feared the crowds and because the contempt of the clans terrified me, so I grew silent and would not go outside?


The earth  is handed over to the wicked; he blindfolds  its judges. If it isn’t he, then who is it?


commanders of fifty and dignitaries, counsellors, cunning magicians,  and necromancers.


The head is the elder, the honoured one; the tail is the prophet, the one teaching lies.


Both hands are good  at accomplishing evil: the official and the judge demand a bribe; when the powerful man communicates his evil desire, they plot it together.
