I will be responsible for him. You can hold me personally accountable!  If I do not bring him back to you and set him before you, I will be guilty before you for ever.


Your servant became accountable to my father for the boy, saying, “If I do not return him to you, I will always bear the guilt for sinning against you, my father.”


Call out! Will anyone answer you? Which of the holy ones  will you turn to?


There is no mediator between us, to lay his hand on both of us.


If someone puts up security for a stranger, he will suffer for it, but the one who hates such agreements is protected.


One without sense enters an agreement and puts up security for his friend.


Take his garment, for he has put up security for a stranger; get collateral if it is for foreigners.


Don’t be one of those who enter agreements, who put up security for loans.


and your poverty will come like a robber, your need, like a bandit.


I chirp like a swallow or a crane; I moan like a dove. My eyes grow weak looking upwards. Lord, I am oppressed; support me.


Because of this oath, Jesus has also become the guarantee of a better covenant.
