When a person dies, will he come back to life? If so, I would wait  all the days of my struggle until my relief comes.


My spirit is broken. My days are extinguished. A graveyard  awaits me.


They turned night into day and made light seem near in the face of darkness.


Now I would certainly be lying down in peace; I would be asleep. Then I would be at rest


Yes, I know that you will lead me to death – the place  appointed for all who live.


What strength do I have, that I should continue to hope? What is my future, that I should be patient?


As a cloud fades away and vanishes, so the one who goes down to Sheol  will never rise again.


Also, they are afraid of heights and dangers on the road; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper loses its spring, and the caperberry has no effect; for the mere mortal is headed to his eternal home, and mourners will walk around in the street;


He will enter into peace – they will rest on their beds   – everyone who lives uprightly.
