Then Jehu brought all the people together and said to them, ‘Ahab served Baal  a little, but Jehu will serve him a lot.


True wisdom and power belong to him. The deceived and the deceiver are his.


Hear now my argument, and listen to my defence.


If a man denounces his friends for a price, the eyes of his children will fail.


my lips will not speak unjustly, and my tongue will not utter deceit.


Indeed, my words are not false; one who has complete knowledge is with you.


Consider: Who has perished when he was innocent? Where have the honest  been destroyed?


They will ban you from the synagogues.   In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering service   to God.


Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful things, not acting  deceitfully or distorting the word of God,  but commending ourselves before God to everyone’s conscience by an open display of the truth.
