Then God said, ‘Let the water swarm with  living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.’


But I also have a mind like you; I am not inferior to you. Who doesn’t know the things you are talking about?  ,


Or speak to the earth, and it will instruct you; let the fish of the sea inform you.


Look, my eyes have seen all this; my ears  have heard and understood it.


But it was he who filled their houses with good things. The counsel of the wicked is far from me!


so that all may see and know, consider and understand, that the hand of the  Lord has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created   it.


Your Majesty, the Most High God gave sovereignty,  greatness, glory, and majesty to your predecessor Nebuchadnezzar.


Therefore, our God, hear the prayer and the petitions of your servant. Make your face shine  on your desolate sanctuary  for the Lord’s sake.


When the town clerk had calmed the crowd down, he said, ‘People of Ephesus! What person is there who doesn’t know that the city of the Ephesians is the temple guardian of the great  Artemis, and of the image that fell from heaven?


For from him and through him and to him are all things.


The Lord brings poverty and gives wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
