Pharaoh Neco imprisoned him at Riblah  in the land of Hamath  to keep him from reigning in Jerusalem, and he imposed on the land a fine of 3.5 tonnes  of silver and 35 kilograms  of gold.


The Chaldeans seized the king  and brought him up to the king of Babylon  at Riblah,  and they passed sentence on him.


So he brought against them the military commanders of the king of Assyria. They captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon.


Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and seized it.


Afterwards #– #this is the Lord’s declaration #– #King Zedekiah of Judah, his officers, and the people #– #those in this city who survive the plague, the sword, and the famine #– #I will hand over to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon,  to their enemies, yes, to those who intend to take their lives. However, the Chaldean army pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They arrested him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon’s king, at Riblah in the land of Hamath. The king passed sentence on him there.


The Lord’s anointed, the breath of our life,  , was captured in their traps. We had said about him, ‘We will live under his protection among the nations.’


You will fall by the sword,  and I will judge you at the border of Israel.  Then you will know that I am the Lord.


They will come against you with an assembly of peoples and with weapons, chariots, and  carts. They will set themselves against you on every side with large and small shields and helmets. I will delegate judgement to them, and they will judge you by their own standards.


So they went up and scouted out the land from the Wilderness of Zin  as far as Rehob near the entrance to Hamath.


The border will go down from Shepham to Riblah east of Ain.  It will continue down and reach the eastern slope of the Sea of Chinnereth.  ,
