There were three rows of window frames, facing each other  in three tiers.  ,


the third row, a jacinth,  an agate, and an amethyst;


Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.


‘Poor Jerusalem, storm-tossed, and not comforted, I will set your stones in black mortar, and lay your foundations in lapis lazuli.


Then all your children will be taught by the  Lord, their prosperity will be great,


there will be three gates facing north, the gates of the city being named for the tribes of Israel: one, the gate of Reuben; one, the gate of Judah; and one, the gate of Levi.


The Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people; for they are like jewels in a crown, sparkling over his land.


The city had a massive high wall, with twelve gates. Twelve angels were at the gates; the names of the twelve tribes of Israel’s sons were inscribed on the gates.
