He will not grow weak or be discouraged until he has established justice on earth. The coasts and islands will wait for his instruction.’


Pay attention to me, my people, and listen to me, my nation; for instruction will come from me, and my justice for a light to the nations. I will bring it about quickly.


While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered  them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased. Listen to him! ’


Jesus answered him, ‘Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfil all righteousness.’ Then John allowed him to be baptised.


And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased.’


If you keep my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.


The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone,   because I always do what pleases him.’


For Christ is the end  of the law for righteousness  to everyone who believes,


Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not!  On the contrary, we uphold the law.


So then, the law is holy,  and the commandment is holy and just and good.


Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us,  because it is written, Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.   ,


Is the law therefore contrary to God’s promises? Absolutely not! For if the law had been granted with the ability to give life, then righteousness would certainly be on the basis of the law.


Carefully follow them, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the peoples. When they hear about all these statutes, they will say, “This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people.”


And what great nation has righteous statutes and ordinances like this entire law I set before you today?


and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law,  but one that is through faith in Christ   #– #the righteousness from God based on faith.


For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
