For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you.


Ephraim’s envy will cease; Judah’s harassing will end. Ephraim will no longer be envious of Judah, and Judah will not harass Ephraim.


An infant will play beside the cobra’s pit, and a toddler will put his hand into a snake’s den.


He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into ploughs and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.


The moonlight will be as bright as the sunlight, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter   #– #like the light of seven days #– #on the day  that the Lord bandages his people’s injuries and heals the wounds he inflicted.


Then justice will inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in the orchard.


There will be times of security for you – a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.


There will be no lion there, and no vicious beast will go up on it; they will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk on it,


so that all may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is no one but me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.


he says, ‘It is not enough for you to be my servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make you a light for the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.’


The Lord has displayed his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.


Indeed, your husband is your Maker   – his name is the Lord  of Armies – and the Holy One of Israel  is your Redeemer; he is called the God of the whole earth.


I will bring them to my holy mountain and let them rejoice in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on my altar, for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.’


They will fear the name of the  Lord in the west and his glory in the east;  , for he will come like a rushing stream driven by the wind of the  Lord.


The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like cattle, but the serpent’s food will be dust! They will not do what is evil or destroy on my entire holy mountain,’ says the Lord.


‘Knowing  their works and their thoughts, I have come to gather all nations and languages;  they will come and see my glory.


They will bring all your brothers from all the nations as a gift to the Lord on horses and chariots, in litters, and on mules and camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem,’  says the Lord, ‘just as the Israelites bring an offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord.


This is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘When I restore their fortunes,  they will once again speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities: “May the Lord bless you, righteous settlement,  holy mountain.”


No longer will one teach his neighbour or his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,”  for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them’   #– #this is the Lord’s declaration. ‘For I will forgive their iniquity  and never again remember their sin.


‘ “I will make a covenant of peace  with them and eliminate dangerous creatures  from the land, so that they may live securely  in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.


Again he measured off five hundred and thirty metres, and it was a river that I could not cross on foot. For the water had risen; it was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be crossed on foot.


He will pitch his royal tents between the sea and  the beautiful holy mountain,  but he will meet his end with no one to help him.


‘But you, Daniel, keep these words secret  and seal the book  until the time of the end.  Many will roam about,  and knowledge will increase.’


On that day I will make a covenant for them with the wild animals, the birds of the sky, and the creatures that crawl on the ground. I will shatter bow, sword, and weapons of war in the land  , and will enable the people to rest securely.


Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who dwells in Zion, my holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, and foreigners will never overrun it again.


For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the  Lord’s glory, as the water covers the sea.


On that day the Lord will become King over the whole earth   #– #the Lord alone, and his name alone.


The Lord says this: ‘I will return to Zion and live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City;  the mountain of the Lord of Armies will be called the Holy Mountain.’


See to it that no one repays evil for evil  to anyone,  but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.


Nothing unclean will ever enter it,  nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.
