I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law,  then Christ died  for nothing.


In the same way we also, when we were children, were in slavery under the elements  of the world.


But now, since you know God,  or rather have become known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless  elements?  Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again?


and he was declared by God a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.


also says in another place, You are a priest for ever according to the order of Melchizedek.   ,


Jesus has entered there on our behalf as a forerunner,  because he has become a high priest for ever according to the order of Melchizedek.


for he was still within his ancestor  when Melchizedek met him.


For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must be a change of law as well.


For the one these things are spoken about belonged to a different tribe. No one from it has served at the altar.


And this becomes clearer if another priest like Melchizedek appears,


but he became a priest with an oath made by the one who said to him: The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest for ever.’   ,


For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one.


With these things prepared like this, the priests enter the first room repeatedly, performing their ministry.
