What is a mere human, that he should be pure, or one born of a woman, that he should be righteous?


how much less a human, who is a maggot, a son of man,  who is a worm!


All the nations are as nothing before him; they are considered by him as empty nothingness.


I #– #I am the one who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear humans who die, or a son of man who is given up like grass?


Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and provided redemption for his people.


Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the dawn from on high  will visit us


Then fear  came over everyone,  and they glorified God,  saying, ‘A great prophet has risen among us,’  and ‘God has visited  his people.’


This means one must not transgress against and take advantage  of a brother or sister in this manner, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offences, as we also previously told and warned you.


For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in this way: And on the seventh day God rested from all his works.   ,


also says in another place, You are a priest for ever according to the order of Melchizedek.   ,


They enquired into what time or what circumstances the Spirit of Christ  within them was indicating when he testified in advance  to the sufferings of Christ  and the glories  that would follow.
