‘When he slaughters the male goat for the people’s sin offering and brings its blood inside the curtain, he will do the same with its blood as he did with the bull’s blood: he is to sprinkle it against the mercy seat and in front of it.


The Lord said to Moses, ‘Tell your brother Aaron that he may not come whenever he wants into the holy place  behind the curtain  in front of the mercy seat  on the ark or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud  above the mercy seat.


But because he has a defect, he must not go near the curtain  or approach the altar. He is not to desecrate my holy places, for I am the Lord who sets them apart.’


Suddenly, the curtain of the sanctuary  was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.


Then the curtain  of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.


because the sun’s light failed.  The curtain  of the sanctuary was split down the middle.


Jesus said again, ‘Truly I tell you, I am   the gate for the sheep.


I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.


Jesus told him, ‘I am   the way,   the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.


he made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that he might create  in himself one  new man from the two, resulting in peace.


And most certainly, the mystery of godliness  is great: He  was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed  on in the world, taken up in glory.


We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.


Behind the second curtain was a tent called the most holy place.


The Holy Spirit was making it clear that the way into the most holy place had not yet been disclosed while the first tabernacle was still standing.


For Christ also suffered  for sins once for all,  the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God.  He was put to death in the flesh  , but made alive by the Spirit,


This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh  is from God,


Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh.  This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
