Two of everything #– #from the birds according to their kinds, from the livestock according to their kinds, and from the animals that crawl on the ground according to their kinds #– #will come to you so that you can keep them alive.


You are to take with you seven pairs, a male and its female, of all the clean animals,  and two of the animals that are not clean, a male and its female,


Seven days from now I will make it rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and every living thing I have made I will wipe off the face of the earth.’


From the animals that are clean, and from the animals that are not clean, and from the birds and every creature that crawls on the ground,


Then Noah built an altar to the Lord. He took some of every kind of clean animal and every kind of clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.


They are to remain abhorrent to you; you must not eat any of their meat, and you must abhor their carcasses.
