Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand by the sea;  they were eating, drinking, and rejoicing.


Throughout Solomon’s reign, Judah and Israel lived in safety from Dan to Beer-sheba,  each person under his own vine and his own fig tree.


until I come and take you away to a land like your own land #– #a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey   #– #so that you may live  and not die. But don’t listen to Hezekiah when he misleads you, saying, ‘The Lord will rescue us.’

Look, the days are coming – this is the  Lord’s declaration – when the ploughman will overtake the reaper, and the one who treads grapes the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, and all the hills will flow with it.


But each person will sit under his grapevine and under his fig tree with no one to frighten him. For the mouth of the Lord   of Armies has spoken.
