So now, come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of the pits.  We can say that a vicious animal ate him. Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams! ’


Then they said to each other, ‘Obviously, we are being punished for what we did to our brother. We saw his deep distress when he pleaded with us, but we would not listen. That is why this trouble has come to us.’


But Reuben replied, ‘Didn’t I tell you not to harm the boy?  But you wouldn’t listen. Now we must account for his blood! ’


He asked if they were well, and he said, ‘How is your elderly father that you told me about? Is he still alive? ’


Therefore I am terrified  in his presence; when I consider this, I am afraid of him.


But now that this has happened to you, you have become exhausted. It strikes  you, and you are dismayed.


‘Then I will pour out a spirit  , of grace and prayer on the house of David and the residents of Jerusalem, and they will look at  me whom they pierced. They will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly for him as one weeps for a firstborn.


because they all saw him and were terrified.  Immediately he spoke with them and said, ‘Have courage!   It is I.   Don’t be afraid.’


When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’s knees and said, ‘Go away from me, because I’m a sinful man, Lord! ’


The second time, Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, and Joseph’s family became known to Pharaoh.


‘Who are you, Lord? ’ Saul said. ‘I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting,’ he replied.


Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. And all the tribes   of the earth   , will mourn over him.   ,, So it is to be. Amen.
