After these events, the word of the Lord came  to Abram in a vision: Do not be afraid,  Abram. I am your shield; your reward will be very great.


Then God said to him in the dream, ‘Yes, I know that you did this with a clear conscience.  I have also kept you from sinning against me. Therefore I have not let you touch her.


When morning came, there was Leah! So he said to Laban, ‘What have you done to me? Wasn’t it for Rachel that I worked for you? Why have you deceived me? ’


Then Laban said, ‘Name your wages, and I will pay them.’


But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream at night. ‘Watch yourself! ’ God warned him. ‘Don’t say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.’


I could do you great harm, but last night the God of your father said to me, “Watch yourself! Don’t say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”


For twenty years in your household I served you #– #fourteen years for your two daughters and six years for your flocks   #– #and you have changed my wages ten times!


When the Jews who lived nearby arrived, they said to us time and again,  ‘Everywhere you turn, they attack  us.’


Haven’t you placed a hedge round  him, his household, and everything he owns? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.


You have humiliated me ten times now, and you mistreat   me without shame.


He has blocked  my way so that I cannot pass through; he has veiled my paths with darkness.


On that day seven women will seize one man,   saying, ‘We will eat our own bread and provide our own clothing. Just let us bear your name. Take away our disgrace.’


No weapon formed against you will succeed, and you will refute any accusation raised against you in court. This is the heritage of the  Lord’s servants, and their vindication is from me.’ This is the  Lord’s declaration.


In every matter of wisdom and understanding that the king consulted them about, he found them ten times  , better than all the magicians and mediums  in his entire kingdom.


When I cut off your supply of bread, ten women will bake your bread in a single oven and ration out your bread by weight, so that you will eat but not be satisfied.


The Lord of Armies says this: ‘In those days, ten men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you,  for we have heard that God is with you.’
