So Abram’s wife, Sarai, took Hagar, her Egyptian slave, and gave her to her husband, Abram, as a wife for him. This happened after Abram had lived in the land of Canaan for ten years.


And Laban gave his slave Zilpah to his daughter Leah as her slave.


And she conceived again, gave birth to a son, and said, ‘This time I will praise the Lord.’ Therefore she named him Judah.  , Then Leah stopped having children.


Leah’s slave Zilpah bore Jacob a son.


God listened to Leah, and she conceived and bore Jacob a fifth son.


So Rachel gave her slave Bilhah to Jacob as a wife, and he slept with her.


Rachel said, ‘In my wrestling with God,  I have wrestled with my sister and won,’ and she named him Naphtali.


These were the sons of Zilpah #– #whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah #– #that she bore to Jacob: sixteen persons.
