The man named his wife Eve  because she was the mother of all the living.


The Lord God said, ‘Since the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not reach out, take from the tree of life, eat, and live for ever.’


Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.


I rejoice greatly in the  Lord, I exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a groom wears a turban and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.


The righteousness of God is through faith  in Jesus Christ  , to all who believe,  since there is no distinction.


And those parts of the body that we consider less honourable,  we clothe these with greater honour, and our unrespectable parts are treated with greater respect,


He made the one who did not know sin  to be sin  for us,  so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
