So Pharaoh sent for Abram and said, ‘What have you done to me? Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?


Then Abimelech called Abraham in and said to him, ‘What have you done to us? How did I sin against you that you have brought such enormous guilt on me and on my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.’


Then Abimelech said, ‘What have you done to us? One of the people could easily have slept with your wife, and you would have brought guilt on us.’


Now Laban had two daughters: the elder was named Leah, and the younger was named Rachel.


And Laban gave his slave Zilpah to his daughter Leah as her slave.


Laban answered, ‘It is not the custom in our country to give the younger daughter in marriage before the firstborn.


Laban said to Jacob, ‘What have you done? You have deceived me and taken my daughters away like prisoners of war!


and that he has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. But God has not let him harm me.


If the righteous will be repaid on earth, how much more the wicked and sinful.


Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.


For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use.


He asked him the third time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love   me? ’ Peter was grieved  that he asked him the third time, ‘Do you love me? ’ He said, ‘Lord, you know everything;  you know that I love you.’ ‘Feed   my sheep,’ Jesus said.


each one’s work will become obvious. For the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire;  the fire will test the quality of each one’s work.


As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline.   So be zealous and repent.

All the people who were at the city gate, including the elders, said, ‘We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is entering your house like Rachel and Leah,  who together built the house of Israel. May you be powerful in Ephrathah and your name well known in Bethlehem.


When the woman saw Samuel, she screamed, and then she asked Saul, ‘Why did you deceive me? You are Saul! ’
