Then Abram journeyed by stages to the Negev.


That is why the well is called Beer-lahai-roi.  It is between Kadesh and Bered.


From there Abraham travelled to the region of the Negev and settled between Kadesh and Shur. While he was staying in Gerar,


Then Rebekah and her female servants got up, mounted the camels, and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left.


After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who lived near Beer-lahai-roi.
