And the Lord said, ‘My Spirit will not remain  with  mankind for ever,  because they are corrupt.  , Their days will be 120 years.’


There is certainly no one righteous on the earth who does good and never sins.


Then I said: Woe is me,  for I am ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips and live among a people of unclean lips, and because my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Armies.


Anyone who is not with me is against me,   and anyone who does not gather with me scatters.


Jesus responded, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah,   , because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.


Jesus turned and told Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns   but human concerns.’


Stay awake and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.’


Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.


‘Lord,’  he told him, ‘I’m ready to go with you both to prison and to death.’


‘Why are you sleeping? ’ he asked them. ‘Get up and pray, so that you won’t fall into temptation.’


Whatever is born of the flesh   is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit   is spirit.


because if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body,  you will live.


Is the law therefore contrary to God’s promises? Absolutely not! For if the law had been granted with the ability to give life, then righteousness would certainly be on the basis of the law.


For we all stumble in many ways.  If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.
