So all the work for the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was finished. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses.


Their duties involved the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the sanctuary utensils that were used with these, and the screen  ,  #– #and all the work relating to them.


Whenever the camp is about to move on, Aaron and his sons are to go in, take down the screening curtain, and cover the ark of the testimony with it.


They are to place over this a covering made of fine leather,  , spread a solid blue cloth on top, and insert its poles.


It had the gold altar of incense and the ark of the covenant, covered with gold on all sides, in which was a gold jar containing the manna, Aaron’s staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant.


Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant  appeared in his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder,  an earthquake,  and severe hail.
