12 When Moses’s hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat down on it. Then Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down.

While Moses held up his hand,  Israel prevailed, but whenever he put his hand  down, Amalek prevailed.


So Joshua defeated Amalek and his army  with the sword.


He told the elders, ‘Wait here for us until we return to you. Aaron and Hur are here with you. Whoever has a dispute should go to them.’


Strengthen the weak hands, steady the shaking knees!


while you join in helping us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our  behalf for the gift that came to us through the prayers of many.


Pray  at all times in the Spirit  with every prayer and request, and stay alert  with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.


because I know that this will lead to my salvation  , through your prayers and help from the Spirit  of Jesus Christ.


Devote yourselves  to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving.


Brothers and sisters, pray for us also.


Therefore, strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,


But let him ask in faith without doubting.  For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
