who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty one together (they lie down, they do not rise again; they are extinguished, put out like a wick  ) –


By faith they crossed the Red Sea as though they were on dry land. When the Egyptians attempted to do this, they were drowned.


For the Lord your God dried up the water of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over,  just as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up before us until we had crossed over.
