Moses responded, ‘You must also let us have  sacrifices and burnt offerings to prepare for the Lord our God.


Moses replied, ‘We will go with our young and with our old; we will go with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds because we must hold the Lord’s festival.’


Take even your flocks and your herds as you asked and leave, and also bless me.’


We must go a distance of three days into the wilderness and sacrifice to the Lord our God as he instructs us.’


Honour the Lord with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;


But her profits and wages will be dedicated to the Lord. They will not be stored or saved, for her profit will go to those who live in the Lord’s presence, to provide them with ample food and sacred clothing.


They go with their flocks and herds to seek the  Lord but do not find him; he has withdrawn from them.


On that day, the words Holy to the Lord will be on the bells of the horses.  The pots in the house of the Lord will be like the sprinkling basins before the altar.


and not just as we had hoped. Instead, they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us by God’s will.


By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and set out for a place that he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out, even though he did not know where he was going.
