God saw all that he had made, and it was very good indeed.  Evening came and then morning: the sixth day.


Can you fathom the depths of God or discover the limits of the Almighty?


The Almighty #– #we cannot reach him – he is exalted in power! He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness,


He does great  and unsearchable things, wonders without number.


The Lord has prepared everything for his purpose – even the wicked for the day of disaster.


I applied my mind to examine  and explore through wisdom all that is done under heaven.  God has given people  this miserable task to keep them occupied.


Just as you don’t know the path of the wind, or how bones develop in   the womb of a pregnant woman, so also you don’t know the work of God who makes everything.


Consider the work of God, for who can straighten out what he has made crooked?


I have tested all this by wisdom. I resolved, ‘I will be wise,’ but it was beyond me.


Only see this: I have discovered that God made people upright,  but they pursued many schemes.’


I observed all the work of God and concluded that a person is unable to discover the work that is done under the sun. Even though a person labours hard to explore it, he cannot find it;  even if a wise person claims to know it, he is unable to discover it.


All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires   to reveal him.


Now the one sown among the thorns #– #this is one who hears the word, but the worries of this age   and the deceitfulness   of wealth   choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.


They were extremely astonished and said, ‘He has done everything well.  He even makes the deaf  hear and the mute speak.’


And because they did not think it worth while to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a corrupt mind so that they do what is not right.


Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgements and untraceable his ways!


The Rock   #– #his work is perfect; all his ways are just. A faithful God,  without bias, he is righteous and true.
