‘If anyone kills a person, the murderer is to be put to death based on the word of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death based on the testimony of one witness.


Stop judging   according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgement.’


He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the resident foreigner, giving him food and clothing.


that wicked men have sprung up among you, led the inhabitants of their city astray, and said, “Let’s go and worship other gods,” which you have not known,


you must strike down the inhabitants of that city with the sword. Completely destroy everyone in it as well as its livestock with the sword.


and if you are told or hear about it, then investigate it thoroughly. If the report turns out to be true that this detestable act has been done in Israel,


Don’t accept an accusation against an elder unless it is supported by two or three witnesses.
