Our ancestors worshipped on this mountain,  but you Jews say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.’


When you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to cover them with plaster.


When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim,  raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:
