See, I have set the land before you. Enter and take possession of the land  the Lord swore to give to your ancestors  Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their future descendants.”


The time we spent travelling from Kadesh-barnea until we crossed the Zered Valley was thirty-eight years until the entire generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them.


For we have become participants in Christ if we hold firmly until the end the reality  that we had at the start.
