35 All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does what he wants  with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can block his hand or say to him, ‘What have you done? ’

But he is unchangeable; who can oppose him? He does what he desires.


But when God is silent, who can declare him guilty? When he hides his face, who can see him? Yet he watches over both individuals and nations,


Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who argues with God give an answer.


I  know that you can do anything and no plan of yours can be thwarted.


God is wise  and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed?


No wisdom, no understanding, and no counsel will prevail against the  Lord.


For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him, ‘What are you doing? ’


The land of Judah will terrify Egypt; whenever Judah is mentioned, Egypt will tremble because of what the Lord of Armies has planned  against it.


I long for you in the night; yes, my spirit within me diligently seeks you, for when your judgements are in the land, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.


Also, from today on I am he alone, and none can rescue from my power. I act, and who can reverse it? ’


He rescues and delivers; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth, for he has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.’


So they called out to the Lord,  ‘Please, Lord, don’t let us perish because of this man’s life, and don’t charge us with innocent blood! For you, Lord, have done just as you pleased.’


If, then, God gave them the same gift that he also gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, how could I possibly hinder God? ’

Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?


For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct him?   , But we have the mind of Christ.


In him we have also received an inheritance,  because we were predestined  according to the plan of the one who works out everything in agreement with the purpose of his will,


The king of Jericho was told, ‘Look, some of the Israelite men have come here tonight to investigate the land.’


So Samuel told him everything and did not hide anything from him. Eli responded, ‘He is the Lord. Let him do what he thinks is good.’
