and had him thrown into prison,  where the king’s prisoners were confined. So Joseph was there in prison.


Based on what happens to them, all the exiles of Judah who are in Babylon will create a curse  that says, “May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire! ”


and he commanded some of the best soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and throw them into the furnace of blazing fire.


When the satraps, prefects, governors, and the king’s advisers gathered around, they saw that the fire had no effect  on  the bodies of these men: not a hair of their heads was singed, their robes were unaffected, and there was no smell of fire on them.


But whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire.’


They will throw them into the blazing furnace   where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
