All who make idols are nothing, and what they treasure benefits no one. Their witnesses do not see or know anything, so they will be put to shame.


He will not show regard for the gods  of his ancestors, the god desired by women, or for any other god,  because he will magnify himself above all.


He will deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. He will greatly honour those who acknowledge him,  making them rulers over many and distributing land as a reward.


In the place of the king of the South, one from her family  will rise up, come against the army, and enter the fortress of the king of the North. He will take action against them and triumph.


Now the Spirit  explicitly says that in later times  some will depart from the faith,  paying attention to deceitful spirits  and the teachings of demons,


cargo of gold, silver, jewels, and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk, and scarlet; all kinds of fragrant wood products; objects of ivory; objects of expensive wood, brass,  iron, and marble;
