He trusts in God; let God rescue him now #– #if he takes pleasure in him!  For he said, “I am the Son of God.’ ”


When the centurion and those with him, who were keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were terrified and said, ‘Truly this man was the Son of God! ’


Then the tempter approached him and said, ‘If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.’


‘Rabbi,’  Nathanael replied, ‘You are the Son  of God; you are the King of Israel! ’


‘We have a law,’ the Jews replied to him, ‘and according to that law he ought to die,  because he made himself the Son of God.’


Thomas responded to him, ‘My Lord and my God! ’


But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah,  the Son  of God,  , and that by believing you may have life in his name.


They continued their journey from Perga and reached Pisidian Antioch. On the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.


God has fulfilled this for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm: You are my Son; today I have become your Father.   ,,


Paul and Barnabas boldly replied, ‘It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.


Arriving in Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their assistant.


In Iconium they entered the Jewish synagogue, as usual, and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed.


On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate by the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and spoke to the women gathered there.


As soon as it was night, the brothers and sisters sent Paul and Silas away to Berea.  Upon arrival, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.


So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with those who worshipped God, as well as in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there.


As usual, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,


When they reached Ephesus  he left them there, but he himself entered the synagogue and debated with the Jews.


He reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath and tried to persuade both Jews and Greeks.


Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly over a period of three months, arguing and persuading them about the kingdom of God.


As they were travelling down the road, they came to some water. The eunuch said, ‘Look, there’s water. What would keep me from being baptised? ’


But Saul grew stronger and kept confounding the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.


and was appointed to be the powerful  Son of God  according to the Spirit of holiness  by the resurrection of the dead.


to reveal his Son  in me, so that I could preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.


I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body,  I live by faith in the Son of God,  who loved  me  and gave himself  for me.
