17 Ananias went and entered the house. He placed his hands on him and said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were travelling, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’

Then Joseph said to his brothers, ‘Please, come near me,’ and they came near. ‘I am Joseph, your brother,’ he said, ‘the one you sold into Egypt.


Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them.


and begged him earnestly, ‘My little daughter is dying. Come and lay your hands on  her so that she can get well  , and live.’


He was not able to do a miracle  there, except that he laid his hands on  a few ill  people and healed  them.


When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped inside her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.


Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit  and prophesied:


And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,


But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your assets   with prostitutes,   you slaughtered the fattened calf for him.”

Today in the city of David a Saviour  was born for you, who is the Messiah,  the Lord.


He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ #– #he is Lord of all.


Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.


And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.


And when Paul had laid his hands on  them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began to speak in tongues  and to prophesy.


Then they were all filled  with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues,  as the Spirit enabled them.


When they heard it, they glorified God and said, ‘You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous  for the law.


‘I asked, “Who are you, Lord? ” ‘And the Lord replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting.


When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God boldly.


They had them stand before the apostles, who prayed  and laid their hands on  them.


Then Peter and John laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.


At once something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptised.


Therefore welcome one another,  just as  Christ also welcomed you, to the glory of God.


The first man was from the earth, a man of dust;  the second man is  from heaven.


Last of all, as to one born at the wrong time,  , he also appeared to me.


Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?


Don’t neglect the gift that is in you; it was given to you through prophecy,  with the laying on of hands  by the council of elders.


Don’t be too quick to appoint  , anyone as an elder, and don’t share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.


Therefore, I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands.


no longer as a slave, but more than a slave #– #as a dearly loved brother. He is especially so to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh  and in the Lord.


teaching about ritual washings,  laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement.


Also, regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him.
