You are witnesses   of these things.


In him was life,  , and that life was the light  of men.


I give them eternal life,   and they will never perish.   No one will snatch   them out of my hand.


Jesus told him, ‘I am   the way,   the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.


since you gave him authority over all people,   , so that he may give eternal life   to everyone you have given him.


Jesus answered, ‘If you knew the gift of God,   and who is saying to you, “Give me a drink,” you would ask him, and he would give you living water.’


But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again.   In fact, the water I will give him will become a well   , of water springing up in him for eternal life.’


For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son   to have life in himself.


beginning from the baptism of John until the day he was taken up from us #– #from among these, it is necessary that one become a witness with us of his resurrection.’


God raised him up, ending the pains of death,  because it was not possible for him to be held by death.


‘God has raised  this Jesus; we are all witnesses of this.


because they were annoyed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.


God exalted this man to his right hand as ruler and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.


So it is written, The first man Adam became a living being;  , the last Adam  became a life-giving spirit.


He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand  in the heavens   #– #


keeping our eyes on Jesus,  the pioneer and perfecter  of our faith. For the joy that lay before him,  he endured the cross, despising the shame,  and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God #– #for whom and through whom all things exist #– #should make the pioneer  of their salvation perfect through sufferings.


After he was perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,


And we know that the Son of God has come  and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one.  We are in the true one #– #that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ.  He is the true God and eternal life.


Then he said to me, ‘It is done!  I am the Alpha and the Omega,  the beginning and the end.  I will freely give to the thirsty  from the spring of the water of life.


Then he showed me the river  of the water of life,  clear as crystal,  flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb


Both the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come! ’ Let anyone who hears, say, ‘Come! ’ Let the one who is thirsty come. Let the one who desires take the water of life freely.
