Jesus sent out these twelve after giving them instructions: ‘Don’t take the road that leads to the Gentiles, and don’t enter any Samaritan   town.


telling him, ‘See that you say nothing to anyone;   but go and show   yourself to the priest,   and offer   what Moses commanded for your cleansing,   as a testimony   to them.’


Then the company of soldiers, the commander, and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus and tied him up.


Don’t let them persuade you, because there are more than forty of them lying in ambush #– #men who have bound themselves under a curse not to eat or drink until they have killed him. Now they are ready, waiting for your consent.’


He summoned two of his centurions and said, ‘Get two hundred soldiers ready with seventy cavalry and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at nine tonight.  ,


The men answered her, ‘We will give our lives for yours. If you don’t report our mission, we will show kindness and faithfulness to you when the Lord gives us the land.’
