‘I baptise with  water,’  John answered them. ‘Someone stands among you, but you don’t know him.


He is the one coming after me,  , whose sandal strap I’m not worthy to untie.’


He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.


for John baptised with water, but you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit in a few days.’


I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, “John baptised with water, but you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit.”
