Even before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.


After they had completed their relief mission, Barnabas and Saul returned to  Jerusalem, taking along John who was called Mark.


So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was praying fervently to God for him.


Paul and his companions set sail from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia, but John left them and went back to Jerusalem.


Arriving in Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their assistant.


After leaving the jail, they came to Lydia’s house, where they saw and encouraged the brothers and sisters, and departed.


After they were released, they went to their own people and reported everything the chief priests and the elders had said to them.


Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark,  Barnabas’s  cousin (concerning whom you have received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him),


Only Luke  is with me. Bring Mark  with you, for he is useful to me in the ministry.


Mark,  Aristarchus,  Demas, and Luke,  my co-workers.


She who is in Babylon,  chosen together with you, sends you greetings, as does Mark, my son.
