So the king called Jehoiada the high priest and said, ‘Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by the Lord’s servant Moses and the assembly of Israel for the tent  of the testimony?


He protects his flock like a shepherd; he gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them in the fold of his garment. He gently leads those that are nursing.


When he reached the den, he cried out in anguish to Daniel. ‘Daniel, servant of the living God,’ the king said,  ‘has your God, whom you continually serve, been able to rescue you  from the lions? ’


He will not argue or shout, and no one will hear his voice in the streets.


At that, the Jews argued  among themselves,  ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat? ’


After Paul and Barnabas had engaged them in serious argument and debate, Paul and Barnabas and some others were appointed to go up to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem about this issue.


The shouting grew loud, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’  party got up and argued vehemently, ‘We find nothing evil in this man.  What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him? ’  ,


The next day he appeared while they were fighting and tried to reconcile them peacefully, saying, “Men, you are brothers. Why are you mistreating each other? ”


Now I, Paul, myself, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ #– #I who am humble among you in person but bold towards you when absent.


since the weapons of our warfare  are not of the flesh, but are powerful  through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments


Instead, as God’s ministers, we commend ourselves in everything: by great endurance, by afflictions, by hardships, by difficulties,


But the fruit of the Spirit  is love,  joy,  peace, patience,  kindness,  goodness, faithfulness,


with all humility  and gentleness, with patience,  bearing  with one another in love,


So Moses the servant of the Lord   died there in the land of Moab, according to the Lord’s word.

Paul,  a servant of God  and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for  the faith of God’s elect  and their knowledge of the truth  that leads  to godliness,


As an overseer  of God’s household, he must be blameless, not arrogant, not hot-tempered, not an excessive drinker, not a bully, not greedy for money,


holding to the faithful message as taught,  so that he will be able both to encourage with sound teaching  and to refute those who contradict it.


to slander no one, to avoid fighting, and to be kind, always showing gentleness  to all people.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretence.


You desire and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and wage war.  You do not have because you do not ask.
