All their neighbours supported them  , with silver articles, gold, goods, livestock, and valuables, in addition to all that was given as a freewill offering.


The gold and silver articles of God’s house that Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple in Jerusalem and carried to Babylon must also be returned. They are to be brought to the temple in Jerusalem where they belong  and put into the house of God.


Make its pots for removing ashes, and its shovels, basins, meat forks, and firepans; make all its utensils of bronze.


Zion’s precious children – once worth their weight in pure gold   – how they are regarded as clay jars, the work of a potter’s hands!


Under the influence of  the wine, Belshazzar gave orders to bring in the gold and silver vessels  that his predecessor  Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, wives, and concubines could drink from them.


‘I do not have a demon,’ Jesus answered. ‘On the contrary, I honour my Father and you dishonour me.


On the contrary, who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?  Will what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this? ’


For we are God’s co-workers.  You are God’s field, God’s building.


Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power  may be from God and not from us.


In him you are also being built together  for God’s dwelling  in the Spirit.


But if I should be delayed, I have written so that you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household,  which is the church of the living God,  the pillar and foundation of the truth.


you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood  to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God  through Jesus Christ.
