Then the Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah,  and God struck him dead on the spot for his irreverence,  and he died there next to the ark of God.


David feared the Lord that day and said, ‘How can the ark of the Lord ever come to me? ’


For the Lord our God burst out in anger against us because you Levites were not with us the first time, for we didn’t enquire of him about the proper procedures.’


Jonah was greatly displeased and became furious.


Then God asked Jonah, ‘Is it right for you to be angry about the plant? ’ ‘Yes, it’s right! ’ he replied. ‘I’m angry enough to die! ’
