Then she gave the king four tonnes  of gold,  a great quantity of spices, and precious stones. Never again did such a quantity of spices arrive as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.


besides what came from merchants,  traders’ merchandise, and all the Arabian kings and governors of the land.


She came to Jerusalem with a very large entourage, with camels bearing  spices, gold in great abundance, and precious stones.  She came to Solomon and spoke to him about everything that was on her mind.


Every man would bring his annual tribute: items  of silver and gold, clothing, weapons,  spices, and horses and mules.


Then the prophet Isaiah came to King Hezekiah and asked him, ‘Where did these men come from and what did they say to you? ’ Hezekiah replied, ‘They came from a distant country, from Babylon.’


Isaiah asked, ‘What have they seen in your palace? ’ Hezekiah answered, ‘They have seen everything in my palace. There isn’t anything in my treasuries that I didn’t show them.’


As soon as your eyes fly to it, it disappears, for it makes wings for itself and flies like an eagle to the sky.


There is certainly no one righteous on the earth who does good and never sins.
