Therefore, there is now no condemnation  for those in  Christ Jesus,  ,


in order that the law’s requirement would be fulfilled  in us who do not walk according to the flesh  but according to the Spirit.


For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh,  but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit.


Now when I planned this, was I of two minds? Or what I plan, do I plan in a purely human  , way, so that I say ‘Yes, yes’ and ‘No, no’ at the same time?


I say this to our shame: We have been too weak for that! But in whatever anyone dares to boast #– #I am talking foolishly #– #I also dare:


This is why I am writing these things while absent, so that when I am there I may not have to deal harshly with you, in keeping with the authority the Lord gave me for building up  and not for tearing down.


I gave a warning when I was present the second time, and now I give a warning  while I am absent to those who sinned before and to all the rest: If I come again, I will not be lenient,
