He seized the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace. He took everything. He took all the gold shields that Solomon had made.


He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon.  It was forty-five metres  long, twenty-three metres  wide, and thirteen and a half metres  high on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on top of the pillars.


So King Shishak of Egypt went to war  against Jerusalem.  He seized the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace. He took everything. He took the gold shields that Solomon had made.


King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; 7 kilograms  of hammered gold went into each shield.


The king also made a large ivory throne and overlaid it with pure gold.
